Car Hire

As part of our service we can arrange car hire for you to be delivered and collected from your holiday accommodation. We use a local company that is based in the town Murska Sobota called ‘Help rent a car’. ‘Help’ is a privately owned small local car hire company; they supply good quality cars at very competitive rates. We choose to use this company as we want to involve and support local businesses.

BEWARE some hire companies (especially from Graz airport, Austria) charge extra if their cars are taken over the borders (into Slovenia, Hungry, Italy, or Croatia.) They often don’t tell you about this charge, and charge your credit card without you knowing after the rental car has been returned.

All hire cars from ‘Help’ have the following insurance:

Fully comprehensive
Damage insurance against third party
Driver insurance

Additional Insurance for foreign countries. (In other words you are covered at no extra charge if you go over the borders.

Vehicles on offer are split into four main categories:

CLASS 1

1) Small cars - €25.00 per day
a) Peugeot 207

CLASS 2

2) Medium cars - €33.00 per day
a) VW Golf 5 serious (From April 07)
b) Peugeot 307
c) Hyundai Elantra

CLASS 3

3) Large cars - €42.00 per day
a) Peugeot 307 SW (Seats 7 people)

CLASS 4

4) Mini buses - €63.00 per day
a) VW Transporter

OTHER

VW Passat estate €50.00

There is a collection / delivery charge of €10.00 per vehicle.

All vehicles have air conditioning, most have ABS breaking system.

There is no travelling distance limit.

If the appointed car cannot be delivered the same class or a bigger vehicle will be delivered at no extra charge.

Vehicles requested for the morning (AM) will be delivered before 9.30am, and will be collected before 9.30am.

Vehicles requested from the afternoon (PM) will be delivered between 4.00pm & 5.00pm and collected during these times.

All payments for car hire must be given direct to the car hire company on delivery of the car.

Samuel and Samuel Turisticne Storitve d.o.o. are not responsible in any way for car hire problems or complaints however we will make sure that any such complaints are reported.
